Intimate chateau wedding France: A family weekend wedding

E&S dreamed of getting married in France but weren't sure where to begin. They envisioned a small, relaxed family wedding that felt effortless yet perfectly organized, with plenty of fun for everyone—kids included! After listening to their vision, we found the perfect French chateau where their entire family could stay, complete with a swimming pool for the children to enjoy. And, YES we even planned an unforgettable pool party that brought everyone together for a truly unforgetable wedding celebration!!
BBQ And Coctails By The Pool
The weekend kicked off on Friday with a tropical-themed welcome party by the pool! After the long drive to France, this was the perfect way for guests to unwind and settle in. Everyone dove straight into the fun, enjoying refreshing cocktails and a laid-back family BBQ—all included in the Chateau wedding package.
The food was absolutely delicious, served buffet-style by the friendly and attentive staff at the chateau. Our bride had specific allergies, but the chateau had no trouble accommodating her needs, ensuring there was something for everyone. Even the picky kids were delighted with their meals and had a fantastic time!
A Dreamy French Chateau Wedding
The original plan was to hold the wedding ceremony in the chateau's beautiful garden, but as with all weddings, the weather had its own plans. On the morning of the big day, it started raining, so we quickly switched to Plan B! E&S exchanged their vows in the charming salon inside the chateau, which comfortably accommodated all 25 guests and was just as stunning as the outdoor setting.
Having a solid backup plan is always essential, and we had discussed this with the chateau owner beforehand, ensuring everything was set up in time without any stress.
By the afternoon, the sun made a welcome appearance, and we were able to capture all the family photos outdoors, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the chateau grounds.
Cheers To Family & Good Food
It was finally time to celebrate with delicious food and champagne! Everything came together flawlessly, just as the couple had envisioned. The food was freshly prepared and once again served by the gracious staff, who made everyone feel welcome and at home, with vintage dinnerware adding a charming, nostalgic vibe to the celebration,which I absolutly love!!
